We are a small farm located
in Parke County, Indiana, the covered bridge capital of the world. The area is
noted for its scenic beauty, thirty covered bridges, two operating grist mills
and an expansive Amish community. The farm consists of the original farmhouse,
which was built in 1860, and over 46 acres of trees, hills and pastures. Two
natural springs and a small creek provide fresh water for the abundance of
wildlife including deer, foxes, raccoons, rabbits and a variety of birds, such
as owls, eagles, woodpeckers, bluebirds and hummingbirds. The location provides
a perfect backdrop for our small herd of miniature horses.
I saw my first miniature
horse in the mid 1960s and was amazed at their small size and beauty. We began
raising miniature horses in 2000, moving to our current location in 2003. Take your time to browse our site, and enjoy your visit. Check out this site below, too!
