We are a small farm located in Parke County, Indiana, the covered bridge capital of the world. The area is noted for its scenic beauty, thirty covered bridges, two operating grist mills and an expansive Amish community. The farm consists of the original farmhouse, which was built in 1860, and over 46 acres of trees, hills and pastures. Two natural springs and a small creek provide fresh water for the abundance of wildlife including deer, foxes, raccoons, rabbits and a variety of birds, such as owls, eagles, woodpeckers, bluebirds and hummingbirds. The location provides a perfect backdrop for our small herd of miniature horses.
 

 

I saw my first miniature horse in the mid 1960s and was amazed at their small size and beauty. We began raising miniature horses in 2000, moving to our current location in 2003.
We have 45+ miniature horses; all are AMHA registered and many are both AMHA and AMHR registered. Though we specialize in appaloosas we also have overos, tobianos and a wide variety of colors including palomino, bay, red roan, sorrel, gray and black. We strive to raise show quality miniature horses with good conformation, bites and temperament. Our miniature horses are friendly, enjoying the company of cats, dogs and people of all ages. Our miniature horses are up to date on shots and worming; their hooves are trimmed every six to eight weeks.
